% 21.09.2016 C.M.No.34677/2016 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Accordingly, the application stands disposed of. CONT.CAS(C) No.1063/2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 27th May, 2016 passed in W.P.(C) No.5003/2016 whereby the respondents were directed to consider petitioner's representation dated 31st March, 2016 with regard to declaration of 'Lal Mahal' monument as a protected monument and pass an order in accordance with law within three months and communicate the same to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for petitioner states that despite the lapse of three months, petitioner's representation has not been decided till date.

Learned counsel for the respondents who appears on advance notice states that as the complex was in a dilapidated condition, the team had to inspect the complex a number of times. She states that a report is under preparation and shall be forwarded to the competent authority in the Ministry of Culture within a period of four weeks. She further states that the directions of this Court in the order dated 27th May, 2016 shall be complied with in letter and spirit within a period of eight weeks. The statement made by learned counsel for the respondents is accepted by this Court and the respondents are held bound by the same.

In view thereof, present contempt petition stands disposed of. MANMOHAN, J SEPTEMBER 21, 2016 KA
