% 30.09.2016 The appellant was not a party in W.P.(C) No. 6509/2016 titled "Delhi Tamil Education Association vs. Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Anr, in which the impugned order dated 19.08.2016 was passed. The appellant has not filed any application seeking leave to appeal.

Learned counsel for the appellant seeks permission to withdraw the present appeal while stating that she may approach the Government of NCT of Delhi with the representation regarding appointment of government nominee in the Selection Committee.

Learned counsel for the respondents, who is present on advance notice, has drawn our attention to paragraph 7 of the impugned order which records that for better and/ or effective overseeing of the recruitment process, it would be open to the Government of NCT of Delhi to appoint senior officers, such as Deputy Directors of Education, on the Selection Committee in lieu of their present nominees.

Nevertheless, we would permit the appellant to file a representation, if he so desires.

The appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.
