At the outset, Mr Ghose, learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the present petition can be disposed of by directing that it be considered as a representation on behalf of the petitioners. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner concurs with the said contention. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of by directing that the same will be considered by the concerned department (Principal Secretary, Home, GNCTD) as a representation. The decision in this regard will be communicated to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 12 weeks from today. 2.
It is clarified that this Court had not expressed any opinion on the
contentions advanced by the petitioner.
