% 30.09.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider petitioner‟s representation dated 5th September, 2016 for restoration of lease of industrial plot bearing no. B-80, GT Karnal Industrial Area, Delhi. Petitioner also seeks a direction to the respondents to convert the said plot from leasehold to freehold.

Though the lease of the premises was determined by DDA vide its letter dated 9th August, 2000 on account of misuse of the said plot and even the eviction order has attained finality, yet learned counsel for the petitioner states that according to Master Plan of Delhi 2021, a banquet hall is permissible in industrial and commercial areas. As the petitioner is only seeking consideration of his representation dated 5th September, 2016, this Court directs the

respondent-DDA to consider the same in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks.

Consequently, the present writ petition and the applications stand disposed of. However, this Court clarifies that it has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the controversy. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open. Order dasti.
