CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 24.10.2016 Petitioners have prayed for quashing of FIR No.579/2016 under Sections 307/34 IPC registered at police station Bhajan Pura on the complaint of respondent no.2, in view of compromise entered into between petitioners and respondent no.2.

Petitioners and respondent no.2 are the neighbours. It is submitted that a quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter wherein respondent no.2 sustained injuries. It is submitted that petitioner no.1 had also sustained injuries. Petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably. Respondent no.2 is present in Court

and submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners without any force, undue influence and coercion. Respondent no.2 further submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further. Keeping in mind the facts that a quarrel took place between the neighbours wherein petitioner no.1 as well as respondent no.2 sustained injuries and respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, FIR No.579/2016 under Sections 307/34 IPC registered at police station Bhajan Pura, which is at investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
