% 19.10.2016 Pramod Verma is present. Pooja Verma is also present. We have spoken to Pooja in presence of Pramod Verma. Pooja Verma states that she has filed a case for divorce at Lucknow, U.P. and the next date of hearing is fixed on 20.01.2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. A sum of Rs.10,000/- deposited by the petitioner in the Court will be given to Pooja Verma.

It is clarified that withdrawal of the present writ petition does not reflect on the merits of the divorce case or the contentions and submissions raised by the petitioner. It will be open to the petitioner, if he so desires, to initiate appropriate proceedings under the Guardianship Act.
