% 29.08.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Respondent no.2-Smt. Rajwati is present in Court who accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Surender Singh of police station Baba Haridas Nagar.

Petitioner no.1 is son of respondent no.2 and petitioner no.2 is friend of her son. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she has no objection in case FIR No. 262/2017 under Sections 380/454/411/34 IPC registered at Police Station Baba Haridas Nagar is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the

consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
