% 26.09.2016 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of chargesheet dated 14.01.2016 filed in FIR No. 529/2015, under Section 354/509/451 IPC, registered at Police Station Pul Prahlad Pur. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably between the parties by way of a compromise deed dated 08.09.2016.

Respondent No.2/Ms. Urmila is present before the Court with her counsel and is identified by the Investigating Officer SI Pankaj Kumar. I have enquired

from respondent No. 2 whether the matter has been settled with the petitioners amicably without fear and pressure. She has stated that the matter has been settled without any fear or pressure.

It is submitted that the parties have entered into a compromise amicably out of their own free will and their consent and it is not vitiated by undue influence or coercion or threat. The complainant has submitted that she is residing with her husband amicably and the dispute between them is settled. In view of the aforesaid, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings under Section 354/509/451 IPC. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to settle in life, FIR No. 529/2015, under Section 498A/406 IPC, registered at Police Station Pul Prahlad Pur, chargesheet dated 14.01.2016 and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
