% 31.08.2018 This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed by the petitioners. The petitioners seek a declaration that the acquisition proceedings in respect of land of the petitioners, which are 29 in number are deemed to have lapsed as neither physical possession has been taken nor compensation has been paid.
Mr.Yeeshu Jain, counsel for the LAC submits that this petition pertains to four separate awards.
At this stage, Mr.I.S.Dahiya, counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file separate writ petitions with respect to each of the awards.
Accordingly, the writ petition & C.M.35230/2018 are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
