% 19.09.2017 This petition is filed under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act'). On 16.05.2017, this court had passed an interim order restraining the respondent from selling, alienating or creating third party interest in the property being Plot No. 90, Second Floor, Block M, Greater Kailash Part-1, Delhi-110048, which is mortgaged to the petitioner. Subject to the petitioner invoking the arbitration clause and commencing the arbitration proceedings within two weeks from today, the interim order dated 16.05.2017 is confirmed. The interim order shall continue to operate till the pendency of the arbitration proceedings. The respondent is given liberty to approach to the learned arbitrator for modification or vacation of the interim order as per law. The petition stands disposed of as above.
