O R D E R

% 18.04.2017 Respondents No. 4 to 8 through their counsel Mr. Mukesh Birla indicate that they would not indulge in any act of commission or omission so as to give alarm or any apprehension in the mind of the petitioner or her family as to their well-being or safety. It is submitted on behalf of respondent No.4 that though he has a licensed fire arm in his possession, it is restricted to the territory of Merut division of the State of UP. It is pointed out that in the complaint dated 2.9.2016 to the Commissioner of Police by the petitioner there was no allegation made of use of any such fire-arm by the said respondent so as to criminally intimidate her at any stage as is the case made out in the writ petition.

W.P.(CRL) 2808/2016

Be that as it may, the petitioner, on being asked, submits through her counsel that measures in terms of the earlier directions in the orders dated 26.9.2016 read with order dated 11.1.2017 have been taken by SHO, police station Pandav Nagar for protection of the petitioner and her family. She agrees to the suggestion of the learned Standing Counsel(criminal) for the Government of NCT of Delhi that petitioner would be provided contact telephone numbers of the beat constable and of the Station House Officer of the local police station so that, in case of need, she may contact them for necessary measures for protection of her and her family to be immediately taken. In this view, petitioner does not press for any other relief. No further directions are required.

With these observations, the petition is disposed of. R.K.GAUBA, J APRIL 18, 2017 nk W.P.(CRL) 2808/2016
