% 19.11.2018 The petitioner's claim in these proceedings is for a declaration that the limit with respect to the number of attempts in the required examination, that can be taken by the holder of a foreign degree qualification in Dentistry, is arbitrary. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that after the previous order of 05.09.2018, the Dental Council of India's Regulations of 2016 were amended, which had the effect of doing away altogether with the maximum number of attempts that a candidate could take to ensure her inclusion in the Dental Council Registry.

In these circumstances, the petition is rendered infructous and accordingly dismissed.
