O R D E R

% 23.11.2017 Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 were known to each other in as much as they were having business dealings.

On the complaint of respondent no.2, FIR 278/2015 under section 384 IPC was registered at police station Jaffarpur Kalan. It is submitted that with the intervention of common friends, respondent no.2 and petitioner no.1 have now settled their disputes vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 12th May, 2017 (Annexure P-2). It is therefore prayed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Manmohan of police station Jaffarpur Kalan. He admits having settled the matter with petitioner no.1 of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

He submits that he has no objection in case the aforesaid FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as detailed hereinabove, coupled with the fact that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
