% 14.12.2024 Appellant/Insurance Company has filed the instant appeal for reduction of the awarded amount of compensation vide judgment dated 03.03.2015 passed by the learned Tribunal to the tune of Rs. 4,95,000/- along with interest @ 9% p.a. w.e.f. filing of Claim Petition in favour of respondent/ claimant (s).

On appeal being admitted to hearing, the Insurance Company has deposited the entire awarded amount along with interest with the UCO Bank, Delhi High Court Branch in terms of order dated 19.05.2015 passed by the learned Judge of this Court. After due deliberations, learned counsel for the appellant has instructions to withdraw the appeal and learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to the said withdrawal. balance of the awarded compensation may be released in favour of respondent/claimant(s). As requested by the learned counsel for R-1, let the balance awarded compensation along with accrued interest, if any, be released to R-1, subject to fulfilment of the requisite formalities.

As requested by the learned Counsel for the Insurance Company, the statutory amount with interest, if any, be refunded to the Insurance Company.
