% 13.01.2017 By this petition the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of FIR No.185/2013 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Shakarpur on the complaint of Ms. Rinki the daughter-in-law of the petitioner. The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal on the ground that she is infirm and thus cannot face trial.

Vide order dated 7th March, 2015 on an application for permanent exemption the petitioner was granted permanent exemption from appearance through counsel till further orders.

A report has been received from the learned Trial Court Though initially no PWs were appearing, on 26th December, 2016 SI Sri Gopal has been examined and discharged whereas the complainant Smt. Rinki has been CRL.M.C. 3769/2016

partly examined in chief. The matter is listed for her remaining examination and cross-examination on 1st February, 2017. It is hoped and expected that the trial would be concluded expeditiously by the learned Trial Court. No further orders are warranted.

Petition is disposed of.
