Mr. Lahoti, who, appears on behalf of the petitioner says that the respondent vide communication dated 10.10.2018 has provided a panel of names of persons who could be appointed as a sole Arbitrator. 1.1 This position is affirmed by learned counsel for the respondent. 2.

Mr. Lahoti says that he has instructions to agree to the appointment of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Satish Chandra, a former Judge of the Allahabad High Court for appointment as a sole Arbitrator, out of the panel furnished by the respondent.

Accordingly, Hon'ble Mr.

Justice Satish Chandra, (Cell no.09452332992), former Judge of the Allahabad High Court is appointed as an Arbitrator.

Needless to say, the learned Arbitrator will file a declaration as ARB.P. 712/2018

required under Section 12 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (in short '1996 Act'), prior to his entering upon reference. 5.

The learned Arbitrator will be paid a fee in terms of the Fourth Schedule of the 1996 Act.

The petition is disposed of in the aforementioned terms. 7.
