0/fl 24.11.2017 By these petitions, petitioners (accused) have prayed for quashing of the following cross FIRs, details whereof are as under:-

FIR No. 132/2013 under Sections 354/451/509/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Begumpur, on the complaint of Smt. Munni (respondent no. 2) in Cr1. M.C. No. 1999/20 17 FIR No. 127/2013 under Sections 354A/506/509/323134 IPC registered at Police Station Begumpur on the complaint of Smt. Nisha (respondent no. 2) in Crl.M.C. No. 2213/2017. Other petitioners and private respondents, impleaded in above noted criminal petitions had sustained simple injuries in the incident. It is submitted that petitioners (accused) and private respondents (complainants) in both these petitions are neighbours. As per the FIRs, a quarrel ensued between them on some trivial issue, which led to the registration of aforesaid cross FIRs. It is further submitted that petitioners and private respondents have now settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of common friends and family members, amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations in future.

Complainants namely Smt. Munni and Smt. Nisha are present in the Court and have been identified by SI Sumit of police station Begumpur. Both the complainants / respondent no. 2 in cross FIRs, submit that they have settled the matter of their own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They further submit that they are not willing to pursue the FIRs any further and both the FIRs may be quashed. Keeping in view the above fact that a quarrel took place between petitioners and private respondents on some trivial issue and they have now settled their disputes amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations in future, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 132/2013 under Sections

354/451/509/323/34 IPC & FIR No. 127/2013 under Sections 354A/50615091323/34 IPC, both registered at Police Station Begumpur, and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. J NOVEMBER 249 2017 sm fl
