1. Issue notice to the Respondents. Mr S.K. Sethi, Advocates appears and accepts notice on behalf of the Respondents.
2. Learned counsel for the Petitioners points out that the assessment order for both the quarters of 2008- 2009 was passed on 4th November, 2011. The refund claim in respect thereto has been pending without any response since filing of the return in 2009. It is submitted that the VATO needs time to verify some documents. There was sufficient time available for the VATO for this purpose. The request is declined.

3. It is directed that not later than two weeks from today, the refund order will be passed and the refund amount together with interest thereon will be credited directly to the Petitioner‟s account within two weeks after the passing of the refund order. If there is any non-compliance, it would be open to the Petitioner to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
