LPA 377/2017 The appellant assails the order dated 04.05.2017 whereby the writ petition of the appellant stands adjourned to 03.08.2017 on account of the fact that counsel for the respondent had sought a pass over and the learned Single Judge observed that it would not be possible to accede the said request on that particular date.

Mr. Datta submits that the since the writ petition has been pending for four years, he is only seeking a hearing in his writ petition and nothing more.

It is hoped that on the next date fixed before the learned Single Judge, the matter shall proceed.
