O R D E R

% 05.10.2016 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. filed on behalf of the petitioners praying for quashing of FIR No.03/2014, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Chitranjan Park, Delhi and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties. Divorce has already been taken place between petitioner No.1 and the complainant/respondent No.2 and to which balance amount of Rs.4,00,000/- has been paid to the complainant/respondent No.2 by way of Bankers Cheque No.849470 drawn from State Bank of India dated 13.07.2016.

The complainant/respondent No.2 is present in person and she is identified by the Investigating Officer, SI Rajeev Ranjan as well as by her counsel and submits that she has received the balance amount of Rs.4,00,000/-. She further submits that she has no objection if the FIR No. 03/2014 under Section 498A/406 registered at P.S. Chitranjan Park be quashed.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, to meet the ends of the justice, the FIR No. 03/2014 under Section 498A/406 registered at P.S. Chitranjan Park stands quashed and subsequent proceedings arising therefrom also stand quashed.
