% 24.02.2020 This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking an appropriate direction to the respondents to remove the illegal and unauthorised construction carried out at the property bearing No.281-B-9, Ward No.2, Mehrauli, Near Achar Factory, New Delhi.

A status report has been filed by respondent No.1/SDMC. In the status report, it is stated that the property was booked on 10.08.2018 in the shape of ground floor, first floor and second floor without sanction/ permission from SDMC under sections 343 and 344 of the DMC Act. Demolition order was also passed on 23.08.2018. Necessary sealing proceedings have been taken. It is also stated that further action will be taken as stipulated in the status report.

None has appeared for the petitioner. It is manifest that respondent No.1/SDMC is taking appropriate steps as per law, nothing further survives

in the present writ petition. The petition is disposed of. Respondent No.1/SDMC will deal with the said property as per law. JAYANT NATH, J.
