The counsel for the appellant states that this appeal under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 impugns the judgment and decree dated 26th November, 2013 in LAC No.377A/2012 (UID No.02404C0256452012) of the Court of Additional District Judge-01, Rohini Courts, Delhi on a Reference under Section 18 of the Act.

The counsel for the appellant states that vide judgment dated 26th September, 2011, in LA.APP. No.358/2007 titled Hem Chander Malik Vs. Union of India and Others and in other connected appeals, with respect to other land acquired vide the same Notification and award, the compensation has been determined at Rs.12,96,455.89 paise per acre. It is stated that the respondents No.1&2 have been awarded compensation at the said rate only in the impugned judgment and the Special Leave Petition preferred against Hem Chander Malik supra has been dismissed.

On further enquiry, it is stated that the respondents No.1&2 also in their written submissions have referred to the aforesaid judgment only and have not claimed any enhancement.

In accordance with the aforesaid statement, the appeal is dismissed. No costs.
