This is a joint application filed on behalf of the parties inter alia praying that the time for making the award be extended for a further period till 30.09.2017. It is sated that the period of 12 months for making the award as contemplated under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 had expired in November 2016. The parties by consent extended the same for a further period of six months. The said extended period also expired on 27.05.2017.

The arbitral proceedings are at final stages and, therefore, the application is allowed and the time for making the award is extended up to 30.09.2017.
