The matter has been placed before us in the National Lok Adalat with the consent of parties, who are present through their counsel. 2.

The parties have settled the dispute. The New India Assurance Company Limited-Respondent has agreed to pay a lump sum enhancement of Rs.6,70,000/- over and above the Award of the MACT of Rs.10,53,832/-. 3.

The New India Assurance Company Limited-respondent has brought a cheque bearing No.594235 dated 11.07.2019 for a sum of Rs.6,70,000/- drawn on Corporation Bank, New Delhi in favour of Bani Kumar, appellant/claimant. Mr. J.P.N. Shahi, Advocate for the New India Assurance Company Limited-respondent has handed over the cheque and the same is taken on record.

The Secretary, Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee may release the aforesaid cheque to Bani Kumar in terms of the award on production of documents of identification.

The matter is accordingly settled.
