After addressing arguments at some length, learned counsel for the appellant seeks leave to withdraw the present appeal, while reserving the right of his client to appear before the Executing Court and explain the financial crunch that he is facing for clearing the arrears of maintenance payable in terms of the impugned order dated 20.01.2017. 2.

Leave, as prayed for, is granted. The appeal is dismissed as withdrawn, along with the pending applications. It is left open to the executing court to examine the plea of the appellant for extension of time to pay the arrears of maintenance.
