The matrimonial dispute between the petitioner No.1 and respondent No.2 : husband and wife, has been amicably resolved. Petitioner No.2 to 6 are the mother, brothers and their spouse of petitioner No.1. The FIR is registered only against petitioner No.1. As a result of settlement between the petitioner No.1 and respondent No.2 the matrimonial bond has been dissolved. The respondent has admitted at the second motion seeking divorce by mutual consent that she has no claim against her in-laws. She has agreed to co-operate in the quashing of the FIR in question. 2.
Accordingly, I dispose of the petition quashing FIR No.24 dated January 26, 2012 PS Farsh Bazar for offences punishable under Sections 498-A/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom. PRADEEP NANDRAJOG, J.
