CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJIV SHAKDHER

O R D E R

% 28.09.2018 1.

This petition seeks extension of time.

2.

Mr. Seth, who, appears for the respondent, says that he has no objection to the prayer made for extension of time by the petitioner. 3.

I am informed by the counsel for the parties that the learned Arbitrator entered upon the reference on 14.12.2016 and that after the expiry of the statutory period of twelve (12) months, by mutual consent, time for concluding the arbitral proceedings was extended by six months. Counsel for the parties say that the extended time expired on 13.06.2018. 4.

I am further informed that the matter is at the stage of evidence and that it requires further nine months to conclude the arbitration proceedings. 5.

For the reasons given in the petition and given the fact that time and money has been invested by the parties, I am inclined to extend time by a period of nine (09) months commencing from 13.6.2018.

6.

The captioned petition is disposed of in the aforementioned terms. RAJIV SHAKDHER, J SEPTEMBER 28, 2018/pmc
