% 22.05.2017 Counsel for the petitioner submits that the statutory appeal was filed on 15th October, 2016 and the same is still pending and not disposed of. Counsel for the respondents, on instructions, states that statutory appeal is to be disposed of by the concerned Inspector General of the Border Security Force.
At this stage, we dispose of the present writ petition with the hope and trust that the concerned Inspector General would dispose of the statutory appeal within three months from the date a copy of this order is received. The petitioner, if still aggrieved, would be entitled to question and
challenge the said order and the impugned order before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of.
