The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that a direction be issued to respondent to initiate inquiry/investigation in the complaint filed by the petitioner against his wife's brother (brother in law), Mr N. Vinod Kumar, who is stated to be an officer of Indian Postal Services. 2.

There are several allegations against Mr N. Vinod Kumar; however the principal allegation appears to be that he is cohabiting with another person and not taking care of his family.

This Court is unable to appreciate the locus standi of the petitioner to file the present petition. However, it is not necessary to go into that question as the learned counsel for the respondent states that the complaint is being investigated and if Mr N. Vinod Kumar is found to be violating any rules, the necessary action in accordance with law will be taken. 4.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The petition is disposed of.

It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion in this
