This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.74/2014 under Section 406/498A/34 IPC registered at Police Station Najafgarh. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably and the petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2 are living together happily in the matrimonial home.

Respondent No.2/ Complainant is present before the Court with her counsel and is identified by her. I have enquired from her whether the matter has been settled with the petitioners amicably without fear and pressure. She has stated that the matter has been CRL.M.C. 3611/2016

settled without any fear or pressure and she is living happily in the matrimonial home.

Since the matter has been settled between the parties before the Court as reflected in the order dated 12.06.2014 and the complainant is residing with petitioner No.1 in the matrimonial home happily, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to maintain their matrimonial relations, FIR No.74/2014 under Section 406/498A/34 IPC registered at Police Station Najafgarh and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The petition and all pending application(s) stand disposed of accordingly.
