% 08.11.2017 Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Veerpal Singh of Police Station Tilak Nagar. Respondent no. 2 says that she has settled the matter with the petitioner before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 30th May, 2013 and since then, she is living with the petitioner. She submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that petitioner (husband) and respondent no. 2 (wife) are living together for the last four years after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings

pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice FIR no. 243/2013 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Tilak Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
