O R D E R

% 24.05.2017 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.894/2015, under Sections 354/506 IPC, registered at Police Station Bhajanpura, Delhi and all the proceedings emanating therefrom. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner and the respondent No.2 are the neighbours. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that due to shortage of parking space in the locality, a quarrel had taken place between the parties, which resulted into the registration of the aforesaid FIR.

Counsel further submits that after the registration of the FIR, the near relatives and the friends intervened and the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and the same has been reduced into writing vide compromise/settlement deed dated 4th May, 2017

and nothing remains to be adjudicated further between the parties, however, the aforesaid FIR is coming as a hurdle in the peaceful life of the petitioner and prays that the FIR in question and all proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.

The respondent No.2 is present in Court in person and has been identified by the Investigating Officer Sub Inspector Niranjan Kumar, P.S. Bhajanpura, Delhi and also represented by counsel Mr.Adnan Ahmad, Advocate.

The respondent No.2, present in person admits the factum of amicable settlement between the parties and reducing down of the same in writing on 4th May, 2017. The respondent No.2 further admits that nothing further remains to be adjudicated between the parties and submits that she has no objection if the aforesaid FIR is quashed. Looking into the aforesaid facts and circumstances, since the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties, who are stated to be neighbours, and nothing further remains to be adjudicated between the parties, to have peace in the neighbourhood and in the life of the parties, I deem it appropriate to quash the FIR and all proceedings arising therefrom. Consequently, the FIR No.894/2015, under Sections 354/506 IPC, registered at Police Station Bhajanpura, Delhi and all the proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. Parties shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement/compromise deed dated 4th May, 2017. The present petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly. Copy of this order be given dasti.
