CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.K.GAUBA
O R D E R
% 30.05.2017 Crl. M.A. 9427/2017 (Exemption) Allowed subject to just exceptions.
BAIL APPLN. 1057/2017 The petitioner had applied for release on anticipatory bail in case FIR 62/2011 under Sections 420 IPC of police station Shakar Pur in this court in 2011 wherein he had offered to deposit Rs.1.85 Lakhs. He did not follow up on the said offer and neither deposited the money nor prosecuted the application for anticipatory bail which consequently came to be dismissed as withdrawn. Thereafter, he became unavailable and since he was found to be absconding, he was declared proclaimed offender in September 2016. He was arrested only in January 2017.
It is also pointed out by the State that the petitioner is involved in similar cases of cheating which are subject matter of three other BAIL APPLN. 1057/2017
crimes registered as FIR nos.251/2009 u/s. 420 IPC, PS Adarsh Nagar, New Delhi; FIR no.283/2014 u/s. 420/406 IPC, PS Chandni Mahal, Delhi; and FIR no.42/2017 u/s. 420/468/471 IPC PS Shakarpur, Delhi. With this background, no good reasons to admit him to bail. Dismissed.
