% 06.12.2017 It is submitted that petitioner was tenant of father of respondent no.2 at the relevant time. A quarrel took place between the petitioner and father of respondent no.2 and respondent no. 2 which led to registration of FIR No. 300/2013 under Sections 354/509/323 IPC at police station Roop Nagar, on the complaint of respondent no.2.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Bhagirath of police station Roop Nagar. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, she has no objection in case FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no.2 is also on record.
Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 and respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
