% 21.10.2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 11th March, 2015 passed in Crl.Rev.P.No.76/2014 whereby the order dated 10th October, 2013 in M-37/13 in the proceedings initiated under Section 125 Cr.P.C. was modified and the interim maintenance was enhanced from Rs.15,000/- per month to Rs.22,000/- per month.

The petitioner who appears in person states that the Naval Chief who is the employer of the respondent-husband is not complying with the aforesaid order.

In the opinion of this Court, Section 125(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 provides for an alternative effective remedy to seek execution and implementation of the orders of maintenance passed under Section 125 Cr.P.C.

Consequently, the present contempt petition and the application are dismissed. The petitioner is given liberty to file appropriate legal

proceedings in accordance with law. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
