% 10.07.2017 The petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 07.12.2016 passed u/s 17 of the National Council for Teachers' Education Act, 1993 (NCTE). This order is at page 82 of the paper book. At the outset, this Court has put a query to the learned counsel for the petitioner that if an appeal lies against that order. Section 17 of the NCTE is very clear. It states that any person aggrieved by an order made under Section 14 or Section 15 or Section 16 may prefer an appeal to the Council under Section within such a period as may be described.

At this state, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty granted to him to avail of the alternate remedy. Permission is granted. Dismissed as withdrawn.
