% 27.09.2016 Crl. M.A. No.15184/2016 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

W.P.(CRL) 2835/2016 Issue notice. Notice is accepted on behalf of the State. Respondent no.2/ complainant is present. He is identified by the IO. The petitioners have preferred the present petition to seek the quashing of FIR No.449/2016 under Section 365 IPC registered at PS Vasant Kunj (North), Distt. South, and the proceedings arising therefrom. The petitioners are present in court and state that they voluntarily got

married. The said FIR has been registered on the complaint of respondent no.2, the uncle of petitioner no.1 alleging kidnapping of petitioner no.1 by petitioner no.2.

Petitioner no.1, who is present in court, states that she has married petitioner no.2, out of her own free will and accord. In view of the aforesaid, the complainant also does not oppose the petition. Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.

Since the petitioners have expressed apprehension of harm coming to them from the complainant as well as father of petitioner no.1, the IO concerned is directed to ensure safe passage of the petitioners to their residence from the court.

Petition stands disposed of.
