Learned counsel for the respondents raises an objection with regard to the maintainability of the present petition by pointing out that the disciplinary authority in the present case who has passed the impugned order dated 20.04.2018 is based in Srinagar and the appellate authority that has passed order dated 25.07.2018 is based in Rampur, UP. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition while reserving the right of the petitioner to seek legal remedies in accordance with law before the Competent Forum /Court vested with territorial jurisdiction in that regard.

Leave, as prayed for, is granted. The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
