O R D E R

% 31.10.2017 Pursuant to the request made by the petitioner for being released on parole, the competent authority accepted the same and by order dated 25.08.2017, directed for the release of petitioner on parole for a period of four weeks.

This court has been informed that the petitioner was released on parole and after the term of parole was over, he promptly surrendered before the jail.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that his children are terminally ill and required constant medical attention and personal care of the petitioner. For the aforesaid purpose, a further request has been made before the competent authority on 06.10.2017. The competent authority is yet to take a decision over such request.

However, the present petition has become infructuous as the request

which was made before the competent authority has already been allowed. This petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. ASHUTOSH KUMAR, J OCTOBER 31, 2017 NC
