W.P.(C) 4616/2017 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:

"

It is, therefore, respectfully prays that this Hon'ble Court may pleased to:

a.

direct the respondent to hear the appeal at the earliest but prior to 26th May, 2017; and b. direct the respondent No.1 to put the petitioner's institution name in the official website of the NRE, NCTE till the disposal of the appeal so that petitioner institution may get / enrol the students for pursuing the B.Ed. Courses for the year 2017-18; and c.

pass any order or further order which may deem fit in facts and circumstances of the case."

From the perusal of the reliefs, it is clear the petitioner is seeking disposal of the Appeal before 26th May, 2017. A mandamus that too for such a short date cannot be given.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he shall make a representation to the Appellate Authority for considering the appeal filed by the petitioner on 12th May, 2017 at an early date. If that be so, the said representation shall be considered by the respondents on its merit. Nothing further requires to be decided in the petition. The petition is disposed of as such.
