% 25.05.2017 Crl.M.A. 8915/2017 Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
W.P.(CRL) 1600/2017 The petitioner was released on parole for period of four weeks by order dated 26.4.2017 on writ petition (Crl.) 1200/2017 primarily on the ground her son had died on 19.04.2017.
The period of such release on parole is expiring on 28.05.2017.
By the petition at hand, she seeks extension of the said period mainly on the ground the minor daughter of her deceased son who was till now a student of nursery standard needs to be admitted in a regular school in first standard, for which her presence and assistance is necessary as the widowed daughter-in-law is unable to take care of the required steps on her own. W.P.(CRL) 1600/2017
Having regard to the fact that the petitioner suffered bereavement and needs to set her house in order including by arranging the continuity of the school education in first standard of her grand child, the prayer is granted. The parole period is extended by three weeks on same terms and conditions as were set out in the order dated 26.4.2017. The conditions shall be scrupulously complied with.
