This petition by way of public interest litigation has been filed seeking a writ of quo warranto declaring the appointment of the respondent No.8 herein as Deputy Resident Commissioner of Goa Sadan, New Delhi as illegal. Making allegations of misappropriation of public funds and misuse and abuse of the office held by respondent No.8, the petitioners also prayed for various other reliefs.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. 3.

As is evident from the averments in the petition, the petitioner No.2 worked in Goa Sadan for 3 years as casual worker and there appears to be several personal grievances against the respondent No.8. Since we are not convinced that the matter involves an issue of public importance but on the W.P.(C) No.9301/2016 Page 1 of 2.

other hand, the petition appears to be to serve the own cause of the petitioners, the same does not deserve to be entertained as a public interest litigation.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
