% 22.11.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 are neighbours who have now settled their disputes with the intervention of elders and neighbours, on 7th April, 2017 and it is, therefore, FIR No.96/2012 under Section 307/34 IPC registered at PS Anand Parbat may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in the Court and has been identified by SI Vidayakar Pathak of police station Anand Parbat. He admits having settled the matter with the petitioners. Petitioners have paid `50,000/- to respondent no.2 as compensation towards medical expenses borne by him for simple injuries sustained in the incident. Respondent no.2 submits that in view of the settlement, he has no objection if the aforementioned FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as detailed above, and particularly the fact that now the parties have settled their disputes amicably, in as much as petitioners have compensated the respondent no.2, in the interest of justice, FIR No.96/2012 under Section 307/34 IPC registered at PS Anand Parbat and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, in view of the settlement.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
