% 11.11.2016 Petitioner is in jail for about five years. Petitioner seeks parole on the ground of filing SLP. Petitioner has been convicted under Sections 307/365/342/392/506/354 IPC and has been awarded varying sentences, maximum one being of ten years. Appeal has already been dismissed by this Court. As per nominal roll, jail conduct of petitioner is unsatisfactory. Status report has been filed wherein it has been stated that petitioner is BC of the area falling within the jurisdiction of police station Palam Village. Petitioner has past criminal involvement in 18 cases. Keeping in mind these facts, I am of the view that it would not be safe to release the petitioner on parole.

Petition is dismissed. Petitioner may avail the facility of legal aid for filing SLP.
