W.P.(CRL) 1679/2017 The counsel for the petitioners submits that another petition seeking similar relief of quashing of another FIR, it being FIR 995/2015 of police station Dabri for offences punishable under Section 354A / 34 IPC was listed before another bench (presided over by S.P. Garg, J.) and has been adjourned to 13.12.2017. At this stage, however, the learned additional standing counsel, on instructions, from ASI Randhir Singh, Investigating Officer of FIR no.986/2014 submits that the charge-sheet is ready and will be filed in W.P.(CRL) 1679/2017

the court of the Metropolitan Magistrate within a week hereof. The counsel for the petitioner, at this stage submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition as the offence under Section 325 IPC is compoundable and he would move the Metropolitan Magistrate accordingly.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
