CRL.M.C. 3670/2016 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 306/2014, under Section 354/509/323 IPC, registered at Police Station Hari Nagar. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably between the parties.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have amicably settled/compromised their whole dispute by way of a compromise deed dated 29.02.2016.
The respondent No.2/complainant Smt. Kannu@ Kannu Bhullar is present in Court and has been identified by the IO ASI Shri Ram. She also confirms that she has amicably settled the matter with the petitioner and she is now left with no claim/grievance against the petitioner. She further submits that she has got no objection if the present FIR No. 306/2014, under Section 354/509/323 IPC, registered at Police Station Hari Nagar is quashed against the petitioner.
In view of the aforesaid, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings under Section 354/509/323 IPC. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to settle in life, FIR No. 306/2014, under Section 354/509/323 IPC registered at Police Station Hari Nagar and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
