The petitioner has filed the present petition impugning an order dated 20.3.2017, inter alia imposing a penalty of `50,000/- on the petitioner for alleged violation of the provisions of Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999.

This Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition as the petitioner has an equally efficacious alternate remedy by way of an appeal before the Special Director.

The petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appellate forum. In the event, the petitioner approaches the forum within four weeks from today; the petitioner's appeal would be considered uninfluenced by the question of delay, if any. VIBHU BAKHRU, J.
