+ CRL.M.C. 2188/2017 HARJEET SINGH & ANR ..... Petitioners Through Mr. Bhavneet Singh, Adv.

versus THE STATE & ANR ..... Respondents Through Ms. Rajni Gupta, APP with SI Pawan Tomar, P.S.

Punjabi Bagh for respondent no. 1 Respondent no. 2 in person

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 13.02.2018 Petitioners are brothers of respondent no. 2. It is submitted that a quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to registration of the present FIR no. 398/2007 under Sections 448/380/34 IPC at Police Station Punjabi Bagh, on the complaint of respondent no. 2. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Pawan Tomar of police station Punjabi Bagh.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Delhi Mediation Centre,

Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 29th May, 2015 and she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR no.

398/2007 under Sections 448/380/34 IPC registered at Police Station Punjabi Bagh and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
