Appellant Insurance Company has filed an Appeal for reduction of compensation. The matter has been mutually settled between the parties wherein the principal amount of awarded compensation of Rs.12,13,272/- (Rupees Twelve Lacs Thirteen Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Two Only) has been reduced to Rs.10,36,387/- (Rupees Ten Lacs Thirty Six Thousand Three Hundred Eighty Seven Only) as principal amount in favour of the claimants. The Insurance Company has deposited 60% of the awarded amount and shall deposit the balance amount of Rs.4,40,000/- along with proportionate interest from the date of filing of the claim petition within four weeks from today before the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee

(DHCLSC) failing which it shall carry interest @ 7.5% per annum. The DHCLSC shall then release the amount to the claimants in terms of the award subject to the fulfilment of requisite formalities. 2.

The Registrar General of this Court shall release the statutory amount of Rs. 25000/- along with interest, if any, to the Insurance Company. Consequently, the appeal stands disposed of accordingly. 3.
