O R D E R

% 09.11.2016 Petitioners and respondent no. 2 are neighbours. It appears that a quarrel took place between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, wherein petitioners assaulted respondent nos. 2 to 4 resulting in simple injuries to them, which led to registration of FIR No. 312/2016 under Sections 308/323/34 IPC at Police Station Nihal Vihar. Petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 have settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of their common friends. Respondent nos. 2 to 4 are present in Court and have been identified by SI Ashish Tyagi, P.S. Nihal Vihar, They admit that they have

settled the matter with petitioners.

They submit that matter has been compromised vide a Compromise Deed dated 5th September, 2016 duly signed by them on their own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. Respondent nos. 2 to 4 submit that they have no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind that, on the date of incident, disputes arose between the neighbours on some trivial matter and that neighbours have settled their disputes and want to maintain harmonious relation in future, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 312/2016 under Sections 308/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Nihal Vihar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
